It's our BABY aka Goh Yi Kang's birthday. FIY, BABY is Steph's bf, we are used to making fun of that calling as that is the way how steph calls him. Same addressing, same tune but relates out different feeling....we(K, E and P) are not his lover.

Okie, so we settled down at the same old place - Nineten Media Cafe. BABY just wanted a normal day coz it was a weekday nite. Everyone sure will sound a lot the next day if it would be a heavy nite. So, chill!!

Our chilling session doesn't ended up like we mention, we ended up with 100 shots?! Wat a 'good idea' from Wilson Teo(Pagen's bro). The guys wanted to challenge and try out the hot event going on at Ecoba in town now- The 100 shots every 1 minute(the copyright). Obviously, the one who suggested this challenge, won the 1st round of the Ecoba event. Wilson Teo, we salute to u!

Tired of normal usual birthdays? Maybe you can try to be like us, dressing up to the restaurants??? Hahaha! Like we've told you, we don't really bother what ppl thinks bout us as long as the moments are memorable. You may call us lame or anything you like but I bet you've never experience things we tried together. At times, it's the "Siaoness" and "Craziness" of ours that makes us burst in laughter. It also these things that kept us as ONE.

We are indeed very playful and naughty but when it comes to work, we're drop dead SERIOUS! Maybe it's the stress that create our sillyness! A week before Stephanie's birthday, we were drinking at our second home, Nineten Media Cafe. S was hinting us that she wanted to try indian cuisine on her birthday. Sounds like something new to us definitely! Well, after a couple of beers, someone pop up(which we don't remember who) saying "Since we are going to an indian cuisine, why not we dress like one, too???"

Everybody likes surprise, especially at birthday time. That is why we take in some much pleasure in planning a perfect birthday surprise. At times, we do run out of ideas due to all the surprises given by us to all our friends. All of us are pretty tight up with our work this year so we couldn't really think of anything but no matter what, there's always something to be surprised at.

This year, S is working on her birthday eve and she will ONLY be back at 1 a.m. So, we decided to drive to the airport and surprise her! We made a little surprise gift and waited for her at the airport.

Dun laugh! We know it's not as amazing as our previous creation, but it was a last minute thingy in within 3 hours!!! forgive us lar, ya?

A birthday, as the term implies, is a day of anniversary of that particular person was born. Some ppl likes to keep things simple, some ppl like to REALLY celebrate it! (just like us). We've known Kiat Seng over the ages, one of Emily's Ex colleague. He has always been the shy guy, even after a couple of drinks! Believe us, his voice won't even raise a BIT! Anyway, his birthday has always been simple. Sometimes not even celebrating it. So, this year, we planned to bring this " KAMPUNG" boy to our "CITY" world after treating him a dinner. =P

Gong Xi Fa Chai!! Why on earth is everyone saying '恭喜发财' during CNY when you meet friends or family on CNY?! It can also start off with '身体健康', '步步高升', '财源广进‘ and much more right?! Maybe it's a practise since ancient times. Never mind, shall join the crowd as well. So, Gong Xi Fa Chai!

As usual, dinners and 'Lou Sang' are both must have for CNY. The first Lou Sang dinner, K and P with K's ex-classmates, Esther with her partner at Ducking @ Jaya 1. It wasn't the first visit at Ducking for us. Ducking serve delicious chinese cuisine especially the Peking Duck.

Another dinner with the attendance of 4 of us at Chung Hwa Restaurant @ Puchong. Phew~ Finally! Normally, everyone will be facing the same issue during CNY, "FULL HOUSE" everywhere. Luckily, we made reservation but we had been placed at some awkward table. *Sigh* Never mind, as long as we enjoyed our dinner.

Just a blink of eye, we are marching towards the year 2010. Time passes real fast, how great would it be if we can stop the time at some selected time and continue it whenever we want to by using the remote control to control everything. Remember how we wanna be elder at the age of 8-9? Now, we think most of us prefer to stay as a baby, right? That is the only time that we don't need to think about money, installments, bills, conflicts and all!

Anyways, we were asked by Yi Kang's gang to join them in the new club in town - Opera @Sunway for the countdown. Since it's a new club, so we just thought of making it a try. The concept of the club is pretty good where they have 3 separated rooms or styles :- The Theatre, The observatory and The Long Lounge. They even have 'new circus' performances by troupes from China and Russia.

Pagen's Spicy nite

This is a pretty rough year for P because her grandmother just passed away few days before her birthday. Cheer up, girl!

It is suppose to be a sexy "uniform night" for GIRLS only unfortunately P was not suppose to celebrate her birthday as planned due to the bad news. So, we decided to make a little surprise for her to cheer things up by inviting the rest of the girls who are supposed to be invited on her birthday to "RED BOX plus" without her knowing it. We had already informed them to free themselves on 18th so that they can join us after our dinner but too bad CHIN ANN burst the bubbles before it happens! *&*&$%^%##$

Oh well, the show has to go on.

Since we're already treated P Japanese food last year, this year, we are gonna spice things up! Yes, food which Pagen Teo can't resist in is non other than spicy food! (Er, second can't resist? Her all time favourite should be Japanese food) Anyways, since we have not try any spicy food during birthday events, why not giving it a try?

So, spicy food which is Thai food?! We make our move to Celadon Royal Thai Cuisine @ Pavillion KL. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Too bad it is located "IN" a shopping mall where you have to walk "IN" a shopping mall to dine. It would be nicer if it's a bungalow or hotels. (Ok, we know we sounds materialistic but once in a while during special occasions??? Not too bad huh?) HAHA

Second round of the night, few steps away from the restaurant - Redbox +. This is the only benefit we found when we are dining inside a shopping mall. No jam, no rush, no headache to look for another chill out place & parking again.

Another celebration took place in Bar21 @ BSC. We had made early reservation with Bar21 and early arrangements with the gang of ppl. So at the night itself, 3 of us (K, E and S) went early to follow up the arrangements. P was being brought to Bar21 after her dinner and we bet she does not expect much on these big bunch of ppl waiting for her. Hope u are happy with this little surprise from us girl!

Taiwan 2009

Everyone can fly~~!Sounds familiar?Yes!Air Asia!!!Such a good news knowing that Air Asia is flying to Taiwan! Now, we can fly to Taiwan without eating bread everyday to save up money!HAHA

To be a bit 'kiasu' once in a while, we had booked the ticket long ago when the Taiwan ticket was first launched. No regret on it, it is still cheap comparing to other airlines. So, here goes our 8 days trip to Taiwan. Crazy?! No, it is 8 days to be affirm.

Since P was away for holiday not long ago, so she decided not to join us for this trip. And left 3 of us with Cherrie + the only guy , Kar Wei

After a few hours of flight in the plane, we were a bit blur case. Imagine spending the whole day traveling on air to train and to car...just make us even more tired. FYI, we are going straight down to Hua-Lien which is located on the eastern coast of Taiwan once we touched down Taipei. We have to catch up the last scheduled train to travel down to Hua-Lien and that takes us 5 hours time. We were rushing like mad dogs to catch up the LAST train to travel down Hua-Lien, if not, we will be stranded along the corridor for 1 night. Thank god!

After the whole day of traveling from morning in Malaysia till dawn in Taiwan, finally we reached our destination :- Shin Guang Zhao Feng Leisure Farm.

There are thousands of leisure farms through out the whole Taiwan. We have chosen Xin Guang Zhao Feng Leisure Farm for it's environment and also the nature beauty of Hua-Lien. The architectures of Zhao Feng combine different European styles for example :- Greek Ionian columns for the reception area and Holland's windmills for the rooms or cabin.

Day 2

After the tiring day 1 on just traveling, we considered our trip just started on day 2. Set to go, everyone!

A little info about Zhao Feng Leisure Farm...Zhao Feng Leisure Farm runs through an orchard producing avacados, pomelos and oranges. We are allowed to visit their orchards for fruit plucking. Zhao Feng Leisure Farm also herds of dairy cattle for fresh milk. Producing own branding of fresh milk and not to forget the milky, freshy, icy ice cream.YuM~~ Have not tasted such fresh and milky ice cream before. Another main facilities Zhao Feng Leisure Farm cater is the petting zoo. Tourists can enjoy spending 1 whole day there traveling with their rented buggy. Other than that, they even have their own hot spring area for tourists to enjoy.

So, basically we spent the whole day doing zoo visiting, fruit plucking, watching the cow producing milk and going for hot spring. Such a relaxing day!

Visiting the Leisure farms is the best shortcut to understand Taiwan local features. Staying in Leisure farm gave us the experience trying to be a farmer as you pick fresh fruits in the orchard yourself and also trying to produce milk from the cow from your own hands. Never regret on having our time here at Zhao Feng Leisure Farm.

Day 3

We had scheduled earlier tru online a day tour in the famous Taroko National Park at Hua-Lien.

The Taroko National Park is located in Hua-Lien and it is famous for its great marble-walled gorge. Those marble flooring you are stepping on now might be from here at Hua-Lien. People who had been to this place will surely be admired by the scenery of Taroko.

Story telling session about Taroko have been told by our 1 day tour guide when we are walking into Taroko. Enjoying the scenery while walking step-by-step to Taroko is just way relaxing. Another relaxing day to go in our Taiwan trip.

But, the toilets in Taroko are extremely SMELLY.

Too much history telling will make us bored, we go crazy with our own style again.

Taroko National Park took away our 1 day time. After settling down in our Hua-Lien Hotel, we have been told to walk around those must-go night markets nearby.

Upon curiosity, S wanted to try on the famous betel nut(Bing Lang). From the feedback of S, the betel nut is tasteless but with a little bit of grassy feel and it is hard to swallow. We were laughing and teasing S of having 'red mouth' after taken the betel nut. No offense to S and those who takes betel nut ya!

Taiwan's best-known snacks are present in the night markets. They have vendors selling varieties of different foods including finger foods, drinks, sweets and also some sit-down dishes. We filled our stomach up with steamed meat-filled buns, oyster-filled omelets, refreshing fruit juices and much more. It was fun on stall hoping where we eat from 1 stall to another stall.

Why are we having these 'look'? The 'not so good' food in the night market. The smelly Tau fo!! Yuck!!

Aside from snacks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts, night markets also have vendors selling clothes, accessories, and offer all kinds of entertainment and products.

Day 4

Our last day in Hua-Lien, since we have to travel back to Taipei in the afternoon, we only have time in the morning for 1 destination :- Liyu Lake

We have been told that Liyu Lake is the biggest inland lake in Hua-Lien. The lake is surrounded by a mountain range which creates an enchanting reflection on the surface of the lake. But, frankly speaking, we were quite disappointed on visiting Liyu lake as we do not see what we expected.

Before heading back to Taipei, we tried another famous food rank by the locals :- Wantan Soup.

After a few hours ride on the train, we are back to the happening Taipei. The next few days in Taipei will be totally different from our previous relaxing days in Hua-Lien. Taipei, here we come!!!

Halloween night! Coincidently, it's the halloween, since we are back in the happening Taipei, for sure we have to go seek around during halloween night! But sadly, K wasn't feeling well, so Cherrie, Emily and Stephanie carry on with their parade and join the crowd! K, how can you fall asick at this point of time??!

From researches that we had looked tru past few months before the trip, we had joted down those must-go attractions and places to visit. Of coz we do not run away from shopping and also food digging.

Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park

1 of the very famous restaurant in Taipei - Wu Jiao Chuan Ban 伍角船板. The unique of the restaurant is on the deco by using driftwood. The owner of the restaurant is an artist lady who insists on building her restaurants based on artistic instinct. She takes pride in claiming each restaurant is "a house built by a woman." Great environment with great food we concluded in.

It was Kar Wei's idea to go for Jay Chao's Restaurant. We found Jay's restaurant in more than 1 hour time which is located inside the University and we have been told that the restaurant has to be closed for special function. What the **? But...thank god, Jay is rich enough to own 2 restaurant of his. What to do? So we keep our conversation short and 'fly' to the other Jay's restaurant before it closes. *Phew* Just on time to step into the restaurant and no regret on it. Cozy environment with Jay's posters and collections around...not to forget, all night long with Jay's music. Another great point is the food is not expensive like we expected and tastes good too! Jay's fan will really go crazy when step into this restaurant, just like Kar Wei.

Our last night in Taipei, of coz have to try going in their happening clubs! By asking around passerby, promoters and even our receptionist aunties...they leaded us to this so called very popular club. But, they were under renovation. What?!!! *Sigh* So we ended up trying out for another subsidary.

Maybe coz it was a Monday night, not much people were in the club. It was kinda quient but u know our style, we still enjoyed ourself. This is what we called ' syok sendiri'. There is another reason we were happy of, we paid RM50 to enter this club and we can drink all we can. WoW......everyone of us was like : Okie, 1 more plz! Syoknya!!

Day 8

Finally, the last day. Happy moments just flow like running water. By looking back the photos, we are sure we had enjoyed a lot tru out the trip. Hope that we can be back again in future.

Wo hai yo, people! Time for some cold and raw food on Emily's birthday!

Hajime, a refurbished bungalow with pleasing exterior and interior designs that will caught your eyes. It is located in the Heart of Kuala Lumpur. Their wooden concept form an ambiance of purity, natural and coziness. According to the waiter, they have seasonal menu. Their menu changed due to the Japan's season as the food traveled all the way from TOKYO (we know most of the restaurants said so) but it's really trilling. Even if some ppl who disagree with us, it's worth paying for their designs and atmosphere right? Why do we sounds more like a food blogger at times? *Sigh*

We seeks for cheap & quality beers and we are considered as a fast drinker ( I think that is why we get tipsy very fast). Among us four, E & P gets drunk faster compared to S & K. So, please go to S & K if you are aiming for a hardcore! Leave E & P ALONE!!! =P (feeling like a traitor)

A SHOCKING news from Fish Lou and Karen Lee whom just got together few months back are getting MARRIED!!!!! It makes us speechless! ^o^ (Needless for us to tell the reason as we are all grown ups). Congrates to both of them!

We were being invited to Melaka for their Bachelor and Hen's night as Karen is a Melaka kia. Buffet was served outside the compound of Karen's house that night. Big, big compound they have to compromise few rows of tables plus a small stage for karaoke session.

Many friends thought that we go for party every week which we don't know why!!!! Well, yes, we drink every week but we don't PARTY every week. "Drinking" and "Partying" are different! Normally (not all the time), we only club during birthdays. We don't call ourselves "Alcoholic" as we don't drink everyday (for you to judge us). Moreover, even if we drink, it's just the "FOUR" of us gossiping bout each other, trying to cope up with the latest news of each of us.(more to the relaxed one) Even though, we love crazy things doesn't mean that we're REALLY that CRAZY but....... we have to admit that we're Naughty!

But, for this week, we (Kiki, Emily & Steph) had stepped into Phuture 2 times in a row. 1st day was our lovely Suki's birthday but sadly Pagen wasn't free that night and ended up, we 3 attended. Second day in Phuture was just a random outing for the 3 of us while Pagen has a birthday party to attend. On the other hand, Kiki, Emily & Steph was bored and since we had figured we haven't been partying TOGETHER for quite some time... Let's give it a call for the second day!

Tamarind Hill is an alluring and refreshing escape for city folks, allowing us to have the illusion of out of the town. A place which decorated by natural elements such as fire & water giving us the relaxation over the busy city. It's just like having SPA while dining. Tamarind is also a place which kept everyone talking bout. It's the HOT topic that brought us this wonderous place on Kiki's Birthday dinner.

Kar Wei insists on not celebrating his birthday though we have strong determination in persuading him. *Sigh* Degil betul budak ni! And so, we decided to surprise our little friend here by crashing in his house(not exactly crash, just a small gathering with all the besties) for a small potluck party(with a little help from K and his family). Frankly, we couldn't bear to let our friend spending their birthday alone at home! Unless there's those typical person who stays at home EVERYDAY.

Everyone of us will get old one day, soon, you will discover you are lazy to do a lot of things. Appreciate and spend your time to the fullest while you can.

A week before, we've already listed down the foods & drinks that are being prepared from each and every one of us. On Kar Wei's birthday eve, all the crashers from different towns gathered outside Kar wei's house, waiting for his homecoming. As soon as he got back, we rushed in all together and bring our own pots.

Birthday events are always exciting for us but it also reminds us about aging at times, That makes us wanna blog even more to recall us all the moments and obstacles we've been through together which unite us as one. Due to the technologies nowadays, we don't develop pictures as much as we used to be. Blogging is the only way that we can think of (at least for now) to keep all the memories we've left behind...

Another year of S's birthday, she wanted to try new delicacy. Strictly no Italianies, Western, Japanese. Demands are pretty hard to fulfilled which often cracked our mind. Google are always our savior when it comes to birthday events. We found a few quality restaurants and after a round of discussion with the girls, BIJAN sounds like a good shot! They served Malay food in a fine dining restaurant. It fulfilled the quality we are looking for.

The following day took place in Farenheit again! This is our second time being there. Though it's not somewhere fancy but the beers are pretty cheap over there. Moreover, there are local live bands (not those "paria" ones!) Like we said before, one of the singers is the brother of the members of Manhand. Manhand is a very popular local band. They ROCKS! They were there on the same night too!!!

P was late that night because she needs to teach her tuition classes every Mon,Wed & Fri (we wonder how a drunkard can teach) after work and the night falls on Friday. S waited for her arrival the whole evening.Glad that she wasn't too late to attend S's birthday.

Bali Trip 2009

Sunshine, breeze of the wind, babi guling, muscular lifeguards.....Yay!! We are going to the beach - Bali! We had planned this trip not long ago as coincidentally, the days that we are spending in Bali is also ah Bee aka Clement Kong's birthday. How happy he is to know that all of us are going with him because of his BIRTHDAY. (neh...bee, we just wana travel and hoping to meet the muscular lifeguards!HAHA)

The trip took up 4 days 3 nights and of coz, we enjoyed till the max! How can it be not enjoying when we are spending time together for crazy trips?!

Thank god we have a tour leader traveling with us to settle all the hazel and puzzle arrangements of the rooms. Yes, Claudia is the tour leader from the well known traveling agency - Apple. So look for her if you are planning to go for trips, especially Japan!

We transform ourselves to our beach wear after settling our luggage in the hotel, we headed to the first meal in Bali. We just whacked into 1 of the restaurant where we thought it looks ok to us. Ended up, the food are superb! They served traditional Balinese food. See? Our definition from the outlook of restaurant is strong.HAHA

Day 2

FYI, we hired a driver with his van together with a tour guide traveling with us in this trip. Sounds great?..... It is actually including in the package.HAHA.

So, we have been asked to wake up early coz we have a whole day packed schedule waiting for us. We gave our full support and being very coorperative with it coz we do not want to miss out anything.

We have been told that, Nyepi - The Hindu New Year is the day where the whole Bali will be performing absolute silence, meaning, NO power supply, NO entertainment, NO activities but just LOCK yourself in the room and PRAY to cleanse themselves. And it is held on the 16th March. Luckily we were at Bali few days after the Nyepi festival, if not...we will be paying bucks for the hotel and trip to stay in the DARK! Somehow it is a good way to be 'suci', or would it be a plan for us to go on Nyepi next time for us to stay 'suci'? *thinking...*

Balinese culture was strongly influenced by the Chinese and Hindu. Therefore, there are mixture of Chinese and Hindus temples happening in Bali. Perhaps, it's definitely not a bad idea to go in and out all these temples becoz it makes us understand more bout their culture from the story telling of our tour guide.

The best known attractions from Bali is none other than the countless temples. The designs are all unique and decorative. We had just gone into a few of the temples among all - Ulu Watu temple, Tanah Lot and the monkey temple.

There is a myth going on since long ago that couples who are happened to step into Tanah Lot will end up separating after all. Is that a myth or a truth?

Bali is the paradise of spa. Of coz! we can't miss it.

After the relaxing spa, our tour guide brought us to another famous attraction - Jimbaran Bay for dinner.

The strong waves may whip away the time and happy moments, but we are not afraid to stay strong and beat the strong waves together by holding our hands all the time.

The strong base is important to build up a pyramid, same goes to building a pyramid for a relationship.

So we had a simple celebration with him where Claudia prepared a cake for him and the local 'band' sang him the birthday song. Although it wasn't a big celebration for him, hope that he enjoyed himself to the max as we brought ourself to spend the time with you in Bali. Happy Birthday Bee!!

Day 3

We are separated into 2 groups on day 3 as some of us joined the day trip traveling around Bali while some of them just settled themselves at the beach....for the bikinis?HAHA. I bet you guys should know who are they.

Balinese dance and music are also 1 of the attractions in Bali. Our day tour brought us to this theater for shows like Barong, Calonarang and Kecak.

We met up with the gang for our lunch - Babi Guling! It's a must try food in Bali and we concluded with : It's just fat Babi staved with herbs but in unique taste.

We continued our day tour to a few destinations, : the active volcano- Gunung Batur, Goa Gajah, the holy water- Pura Tirtha Empul and also the coffee farm.

The coffee farm in Bali produced a special kind of famous and yet expensive coffee - Kopi Lewak. From the name itself, everyone should know what it is produced from? Yuck! It is the cat's poop coffee! We have been told, the coffee bean was eaten by the Lewak cats and formed to the expensive Kopi Lewak after it's digestion! Yeah, the poo that earn you bucks!

Since most of us are back to our kampung during chinese new year time, we only managed to meet up and have a proper 'chinese new year' dinner way back. The best thing of being 'single' during Chinese New Year is to get Ang Pow from married couples. Yay! 2 Days Trip to the City of Char Kuey Teow and Assam Laksa

BoriNg... BoriNg... BORING!!! Life could be boring at times.Normally, we girls will heat things up by moving to another state! PENANG! Here we come! *Ngek ngek* Grab your bags, Girls! VrOOmMMMm!!!!

A week before we started our journey, we searched through internets, listing down all the delicacy & places from our Penang's friends so that we won't missed a thing which WE know we would as we are only there for A DAY. How could you do everything in just A DAY, right? =P

Heard a lot of ppl gossiping about this "T-bowl restaurants" located in Queensbay Mall @ Penang which it's fully equipped with toiletries. Out of our curiousity, we kicked start our journey heading to T-BOWL

After having our lunch, we spent our daytime shopping at Queensbay Mall. Each of us managed to get some cheap goods for ourselves.

Dinner time! Pagen strongly recommended the charcoal steamboat located at Butterworth, even if we disagreed to go there as it's pretty far from our hotel to Butterworth. Haih... but you know her, insisting and acting like a baby, well, we just have to agree with her!

Since Pagen was the only one been there before but with her sense of direction, we still have to depend on our Penang map. Unfortunately, we took up more than 1 hour time to reach our destination with some guidance from the people nearby. Our stomach was growling all the way, yet, FINALLY we made our way to this charcoal, fish soup steamboat.

Good thing Pagen insists on it. Nevertheless, it is really special as it is cooked using charcoal and it is served with Fish head soup. SluRPppPPPpp~

Next destination, Batu Feringi! Yes, you're right! We are survivors! We travel wit maps again.

We were rounding 'around' Penang road and yet we could not get ourself to Penang road. These maps are useless at times(maybe we are the one)! Coudn't find the Penang Road *Disappointed*. Sometimes when comes to special day, we often cracked our head deciding where to go. Why do we always feels stupid to stay at home if it's a special day like new year's eve? Anyway, back to topic, so we dragged ourselves to enjoy our last dinner of 2008 at one of the Taiwanese restaurant at SS2 (couldn't recall the name of the restaurant, the restaurant pisses George off that night cuz the SERVICE is TOOOOOOooooOOOO Slow! -_-) Chill Bro!

After an UNSATISFIYING dinner, we don't really wanna Club that night as we know it is definitely gonna be PACKED like sandwich! And the JAM will be killing our "limited" time! So.... we headed to Chulo. A place where we last celebrated Pagen's Birthday.

We wanted to ask all of them to attend a so call 'formal' x mas dinner, but unfortunately the mission failed! Most of them couldn't make it during dinner and that includes Pagen and Emily too. Every year, each of everyone of us will shop for things not more than RM50 to exchange during Christmas. That is why, though we had our separated dinners individually, we will still manage to gather ourselves to exchange Christmas gift together. This year, we have a lot of other participants. We have some of our friends find it very interesting and they said they wanna join us as well! So, we did our shopping separately for the past weekend and here we are at station 1 @ SS15 to get the present ripped off!

First, we randomly put numbers on the gift everybody prepared. Then, we wrote all the numbers in a piece of paper to be picked one by one. Though it may sounds a bit childish to some ppl, but honestly, it was fun staying in a group to have all these kind of activities around! Especially when we have BIG KIDS around us! =P
